Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Voltra ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our application and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account and use the app. This includes:
- Email address (used for authentication and communication)
- Display name and date of birth (provided during onboarding)
- Body weight logs, workout data, exercise records, and training programs you create in the app
- Billing and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)
We also collect limited usage data automatically, including device type and app version, to provide and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Voltra
- Authenticate your account and keep your data secure
- Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
- Send transactional emails (e.g. password reset, payment receipts) — we do not send marketing emails without explicit consent
- Respond to support requests and resolve technical issues
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party service providers strictly necessary to operate the service:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting (your data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL)
- Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy)
- Vercel — application hosting and content delivery
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data associated with it is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.
5. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row-Level Security policies in the database, and httpOnly cookie-based session authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below.
7. Cookies
Voltra uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Voltra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
